C. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PSYCHIATRIST AND PSYCHOTHERAPIST/PSYCHOLOGIST?
A psychiatrist is a medical doctor specialized in the field of psychiatry and conducts assessment of your mental health situation, diagnoses, and provides medical treatment and prescribes medication. If for any reason you would like to change your mental health provider, you can contact our clinical assistant to check the availability of other providers.

Similar to any psychotherapy or psychiatry session conducted in person, any information shared during a session is confidential. You will be asked to sign this form prior to your first consultation at our clinics.

Payment is made through a payment gateway on Embrace’s website. Sessions are paid 24 hours in advance of your session, and can be completed for more than one session in advance.
