Embrace’s One for One clinic was launched to cater for Lebanese and Arabic speaking individuals who are living outside of Lebanon and believe in Embrace’s mission and services . There is a strong motivation among the Lebanese diaspora to support Lebanon, and its mental health needs. Through this initiative, Lebanese individuals abroad can receive high-standard therapy through Embrace’s team of licensed psychologists and psychiatrists. 80% of the session fees will be donated to Embrace’s Mental Health Center to provide beneficiaries living in Lebanon with free mental health services.

A. HOW DO I BOOK MY APPOINTMENT?
Appointments are booked via our website. You will be asked to fill in a brief questionnaire and you will then be contacted by the clinical assistant at Embrace Mental Health Center, who will provide you with an appointment.
B. CAN I CHOOSE WHICH PROFESSIONAL I SPEAK WITH?
Depending on your preferences and your needs, as well as availability of our clinicians, you will be referred to the appropriate professional.
C. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PSYCHIATRIST AND PSYCHOTHERAPIST/PSYCHOLOGIST?
A psychiatrist is a medical doctor specialized in the field of psychiatry and conducts assessment of your mental health situation, diagnoses, and provides medical treatment and prescribes medication. A psychologist/psychotherapist is a mental health specialist with at least a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Psychologists assess your mental health situation, diagnose and provide psychological treatment, or talktherapy, to help you work through and cope with difficult emotions, thoughts or behaviors.
D. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF THERAPY PROVIDED AT EMBRACE?
Our clinicians are specialized in a range of therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, and Acceptance and Mindfulness based psychotherapies.
E. HOW DO I GET MY PRESCRIPTION?
At the end of your session with the psychiatrist, a copy of your prescription will be sent to you electronically. If the pharmacy in your country of residence accepts non-local prescription, you will be able to start the medications immediately.
F. CAN I CHANGE PROVIDERS?
If for any reason you would like to change your mental health provider, you can contact our clinical assistant to check the availability of other providers.
G. ARE THE SESSIONS CONFIDENTIAL?
Similar to any psychotherapy or psychiatry session conducted in person, any information shared during a session is confidential. The online platform used for conducting the session is a secure platform. A detailed informed consent will be shared with you ahead of your first session. You will be asked to sign this form prior to your first consultation at our clinics.
H. WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT MODALITIES?
Payment is made through a payment gateway on Embrace’s website. Sessions are paid 24 hours in advance of your session, and can be completed for more than one session in advance.
I- WHERE DO MY FUNDS GO?
80% of your sessions fees go directly to the resources needed at the Embrace Mental Health Center to provide free therapy for persons living in Lebanon who cannot afford it.
